Many private forest landowners choose to sell their Ohio timber for a wide variety of
reasons. NGF is dedicated to helping landowners achieve the highest prices when selling
timber. NGF foresters are experts in timber sales administration and marketing and we
take pride in serving our Ohio clients.

Ohio is most noted for its quality Appalachian hardwoods. Hardwood lumber is generally
used in home construction products and industrial production. Higher grades of
hardwood and some pine lumber are used in furniture and home construction, such as
molding and millwork. Lower grade material is converted into containers and pallets used
by industrial corporations.
